Make a separate circus admission ticket by cutting out a
small rectangle with pinking shears or other fancy edging scissors. Write "Admit
One" in the center, day and showtime, etc. Include this in the envelope with
your invitation.
Circus Clown Invitation Make a clown invitation by
cutting a circle for the face and a triangle for the hat from colored
construction paper. Make simple crosses for the eyes, a big red circle for a
nose, and a wide slit for the mouth. Unroll a party blower and write
all the party information along it. Place inside the clown's mouth. Mail in a
padded envelope or hand-deliver.
Circus Party
Kit This Circus Party Kitfor 8 includes Invitations, 7" Dessert
Plates, 9 oz. Hot/Cold Cups, 16 Luncheon Napkins, Tablecover, Red Cutlery Set,
12 each of 11" Red and Blue Balloons, and 75' each of Royal Blue and Yellow

Balloon Bunch
Cupcakes Frost at least a dozen cupcakes in assorted vibrant colors of
red, blue, green and yellow. You'll want at least one for each party guest.
Arrange cupcakes on a large serving tray and tape a length of colorful curling
ribbon to each one. Tie ribbons together and curl to finish your balloon bunch.
One of our most popular circus party ideas is a balloon archway for your guests to walk through upon arrival - it's easier than you
think!
Just inflate balloons with helium and attach
to a string about every 12 inches. Tie one end of the string to a tent stake or
other anchor. Now you can estimate how tall you would like the archway to be.
When finished, secure the other end of the string in the same manner as the
first.
As balloons
are inflated, they will float up and form a beautiful arch! Make this the
gateway for partygoers to gain admittance to your "fairgrounds"!
Next
stop is your circus
tent and ticket booth where guests must present their admission tickets to
the Greatest Show on Earth - your party!
Hang crepe paper streamers over the party table to resemble
a tent. Add lots of primary colored balloons - yellow, red, and blue -
throughout the party area. Hang like colored crepe paper from doorways (like
60's bead curtains). If outside, use a striped canopy or sheet hung from
a tree.
Face Painting - A circus party just screams for
face painting! Imagine the clowns, lions and monkeys you
could create! Or just keep it simple by coloring noses red, outlining mouths in
white, and making cross lines over eyes. Soon you'll be knee deep in little
Bozos! These face paint markerswill make your job easy.
Your Circus Midway should provide lots of opportunities for
guests to win inexpensive prizes such as lollipops, wrapped candy, and trinkets.
Small toys saved from fast food kids meals are ideal game prizes!

Cotton Candy Making - **BEST Circus
Party Idea!** I highly recommend renting or purchasing a cotton
candy machine. We made cotton candy at my daughter's recent birthday party and her friends just
couldn't stay away from the machine! It's as much fun to make as it is to eat -
maybe more!
Adults love the sweet confection too. Besides,
what's a circus without cotton candy? If you can't find a machine, try these pre-packaged bags of cotton candy. You can even give them as party favors.
Snow Cone Making Having a Snow Cone Makeris a great complement to the cotton candy maker, especially on a
hot day. Kids never tire of cool sugary snacks!
Popcorn
Stand An authentic popcorn machine adds to the circus ambiance, if only
for the heavenly aroma it brings! Or, make lots of popcorn in advance and serve it in these cute red and white striped popcorn containers.
This fun Circus Favor Packincludes circus fun box, pink glow necklace,

the top, slit one seam about an inch, and roll the top of the bag a couple of
times to make a nice firm edge. Fill with peanuts in the shell.

The hotdogs, caramel apples, pretzels, and

adult helpers.
