Opening Night Photo Shoot
-
Send a "Model Profile
Sheet" along with the Movie Star Birthday party invitation, informing each guest that they were chosen
out of millions to join the party child for an opening night photo shoot.
It should include spaces to fill in
their name, stage name, height, weight, recent movie appearances, and whatever other fun
stuff you'd like to add. This should be returned along with
the RSVP and can be used to introduce each "starlet" when the photo shoot
begins...
When the girls arrive, give them beautiful gowns to
design - men's T-shirts with netting sewn at the bottom. Provide guests with
fabric paint, glitter, ribbon and fabric glue to make their own dress-up
creations. Then it's off to makeup and accessorizing.
Provide
Hollywood boas,
lots of play make-up,
inexpensive beads, press-on nails and costume jewelry to choose from. When
dresses are dry, it's time for the photo shoot.
Hang the
Hollywood marquee door curtain
in a doorway and direct your glamour girls to make their
entrance through it. If you have space, line a catwalk with rope lighting or luminarias to give the effect of footlights.
Let them take turns singing, dancing, doing
karaoke, or showcasing their talents while other guests sit movie-theater style
with lots of popcorn to watch the performances.
Give them these
gold star clackers to cheer for their
favorite
movie star and a
disposable Hollywood Camera
to record their own memories of your glitzy glamour
party.
Of course, take lots of video and snapshots for your movie star birthday memory album.
